Orchid societies as well as other local and commercial growers from the tri-state area will be will be presenting landscaped exhibits that will be sure to delight all who attend. Displays will range in size from ornate cases filled with miniature orchids to 150 sq. ft. tropical displays arranged to show the beauty of the plants in natural environments.

Contest Rules

• Photographs may be taken during normal show hours. Tripods are only permitted AFTER judging takes place on Thursday, Feb. 4th, and Friday Feb. 5th from 8AM to 12PM. No tripod photography will be allowed on Saturday or Sunday, February 6th or 7th due to the large volume of guests visiting the show
• Photographers may enter a maximum of 5 photos as they like provided the photos are from the 2010 Deep Cut Orchid Show held at Dearborn Market. Photos should be 4” x 6” in either a vertical or horizontal format.
• Photos must be submitted in person to Customer Service by Sunday, February 21st, 2010 for final judging.
• Photos will be judged on the quality of the photo taken as well as the most esthetically pleasing photograph that best promotes the Deep Cut Orchid Society Orchid Show.
• First prize is a $100.00 Dearborn Gift Card, 2nd Prize is a $75.00 Dearborn Gift Card, 3rd Prize is a $50.00 Dearborn Gift Card. Winner will be notified by phone on Monday, March 1st, 2010. Prizes MUST be claimed within 60 days at Dearborn Market's Customer Service Counter along with proper identification.
• By entering the contest, contestants give Dearborn Market full right to use the images in any future advertising or publicity.
• Photos will NOT be returned.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to win.
